Mortalverse AR imagines the marriage and deaths of the artist and his life partner, Brian Curtin. The former points to a hot political issue in Thailand as of 2022 because public debates are challenging clause 1448 in local laws. This clause does not allow for gay equality with heterosexual unions and inequality includes the lack of tax redemption and inheritance rights, which would allow queers a secure life in old age. The latter explores ideas of the couple’s afterlives.
