Damien Jalet is French-Belgian award winning  choreographer and dancer working internationally. He is often working across disciplines such as visual art, music, cinema, theatre and fashion in a constant search of reinventing the boundaries of dance. Taking his inspirations in different  myths and rituals across the world, his works also explores principles from physics, anatomy and cosmology.

Through the years he has developed significant collaborations with artists such as Kohei Nawa, Marina Abramovic , Antony Gormley, Paul Thomas Anderson , Madonna , Ryuichi Sakamoto , Jim Hodges , Thom Yorke, Luca Guadagnino, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Aimilios Arapoglou, Jean-Paul Lespagnard, Iris Van Herpen, Erna Omarsdottir, JR, Arthur Nauzyciel, Fennesz.

Beside his own creations, he created commission works for some of the most renowned  dance company worldwide  including Ballets C. de la B., Sasha Waltz and Guests, Chunky Move, Eastman, NYDC, Hessiches Staatballet, Paris Opera Ballet, Scottish Dance Theatre, NDT1, Gothenburg Dance company.

Jalet was entitled Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French government in 2013.

Gilles Delmas is an artist, filmmaker and set-designer, interested in questions related to immigration, ritual and transformation. Much of his work is multidisciplinary, crossing over media such as dance and performance. Collaborations include works developed with choreographers such as Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui or the highly acclaimed Zon-Mai.

Interested in blurring boundaries between documentary and fiction, his international on-the-field approach gives a voice to those being filmed so that they may collaboratively choose the language to best depict their experience of home, displacement or singular and shared cultural references.

Gilles Delmas’s works are part of private and public collections such as the Paris collection - Fonds National d’art contemporain, Musée de l’Immigration, Fondation Antoine de Galbert, The Bibliotheque National de France (BNF) Paris. 

He currently lives and works in Paris, France.
