For BAB 2022, an enormous Buddha head cast in aluminum as part of Melting Void: Molds of the Mind (1999) made during the last phase of his life, is placed inside a sanctuary at Wat Pho. Viewers can enter inside the hollow Buddha head filled with medicinal herbs and experience light through tiny holes related to astrological stars. Boonma wrote,

“I want the space inside the Buddha image to be a place of refuge for mindfulness of viewers who wish to be in condition of calmness and contentment.”

Boonma’s Buddha image faces the sacred image of Buddha Palaelai attended by elephant and monkey cast during the reign of Rama I. Beside Buddhist worship, the symbol of Rahu, the Hindu deity who causes eclipses is placed for devout born on Wednesday night. Boonma’s astrological sign coincided with nocturnal time of Wednesday.

In Misikawan Garden near the Reclining Buddha at Wat Pho, Boonma’s prototype of Arokayasala is displayed for the first time in public. Metal boxes filled with herbs stacked in the form of lungs refer to Khmer sanctuaries as places of prayer and healing. Boonma’s Arokayasala is installed inside Chinese-style shrine with 19th century mural paintings.
