Purity, is a paint skin and metal sculpture which Yanko completed in 2018.  The sculpture has a rare marbleized skin, the only time Yanko has worked in this way and suspended from the ceiling, the work’s metal offers a swing-like seat with the marbleized black, white and gray paint skin becoming ethereal and grounded at the same time. Projected alongside the sculpture is an NFT of Purity, a collaboration between Yanko and musician Masego. The digital work recapitulates the sculpture, capturing the impulses Yanko created and joining both her and Masego’s abstract perspectives in an animation and score.
